About Krista Giannak
Writing is my passion, especially when my writing teaches someone or helps inspire positive change. When I was a kid, I knew I wanted to be a writer. In high school, I wrote my first press release for the Long Island Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and I have been writing professionally ever since.
I approach all professional writing with the curiosity, conciseness, and creativity of a journalist. My diverse writing experience includes press releases, feature articles, newsletters, business bios, brochures, and more.
Projects and Results
Companies and organizations such as Suffolk Independent Living Organization (SILO), Special Needs Expos, Foundation Fighting Blindness, March of Dimes, ITeachXL, Cross Sea Partners, and Inclusion Now have achieved results with my web content and public relations services. Clients report increased clarity of their messages, increased media mentions, higher social media engagement, and more.
Several local papers have printed my work, including the four papers of L&M Publications, a hospitality industry trade journal called Hotel Interactive, and Times Beacon Record Newspapers.
In addition to writing, I enjoy networking and building relationships. I love that feeling when I bring a reporter and client together for the first time. I am a member of the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (PRPLI), the Long Island Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFPLI), and a wonderful Long Island networking group called Adrian’s Network.
I seek only to help and never to sell my services unless, of course, that is what you want. I love having meaningful conversations and connecting people, so please contact me and say hello.
